Wednesday Intervals...sort of

Today's intervals felt HARD! I got a phone call on my way out the door to the gym and had less time than I wanted on the treadmill, but it wasn't such a bad thing! My shins were really hurting while I was warming up and continued to hurt while I was running faster, so maybe a shorter workout was ok today. I felt like I had the energy to run faster, but my legs were telling me a different story. I have yoga tonight so will be able to really stretch my legs. I've never really had any pain in my shins before, I didn't run yesterday and on Monday my shins weren't hurting before, during or after the run (my legs were just tired all over), so I'm not sure what could have caused this. Hopefully it's just a bad day and all will be fine when I run outside tomorrow!

    I have days where I have felt the same way. I think that you will be fine. Hopefully in a day or so the shin splints will be gone and you will be back to yourself:) Hang in there!
