This week I'm challenging you to do something you wouldn't normally do every day to be a little more environmentally friendly. I have been known to go on rants about various government policies, but I don't often do much beyond telling anyone who will listen how I feel about it. I vote, but I've never been the rallying, petition-signing, letter-writing kind, until today. I just wrote a letter to the Premier and the Environment Minister to protect B.C.'s grizzlies and stop trophy hunting. It was so easy! If you're Canadian, I urge you to go to the David Suzuki Foundation website and check out the Call for Leadership. A letter is right there, waiting to be sent on a number of provincial, national and international environmental issues. No matter where you're from, (or what you think of David Suzuki) the website is a great resource with a ton of ideas and good information about reducing our carbon footprint.
Today's workout was another On The Ball class. This time there were no weights, but we used the step. I was kinda hoping for a bit more of a rest for my knee, but I only used one set of risers and took it pretty easy and I couldn't feel any pain or aching. A good sign! It was a fun class and a good core workout!
Thanks for that link!
