This crazy week is finally DONE!!
I'm back at home after 2.5 days at camp and 1.5 days in Williams Lake meeting with community members and the newly arrived youth. It's good to be home!
I did make it out for another run this morning. I really didn't have time to get lost, so I mapped out my route before I left. It was just nice to be running in new scenery and I felt very motivated to do more than just 5 km. The route I mapped out ended up being quite hilly, which I hadn't really planned on for today, but I felt strong running those hills today. I wasn't as fast as yesterday, but the sun was shining and the run just felt easy - a definite confidence booster given that some of those hills were pretty steep and pretty long and I didn't even think about walking. Ok, maybe I thought about it, but only for about a split second, and I didn't actually do it.
Tomorrow is supposed to be another beautiful day and I've got another long run planned. I'm doing Aneta's 12.3 km Virtual Race, but would actually like to run further than this, so it might turn into 12.3 miles for tomorrow, I'm just not too sure of my route...or my outfit to fit the pj theme.
The bf and I started watching the Rome series on DVD before this crazy week began, so I'm off to veg out on the couch and watch the next episode (or 2 or 3) now. Why wasn't history this interesting in school?
Have a super weekend!
