1. I found a running group!!! Woot! I'm very excited. It's not quite a group, but a winter running class through the rec centre. I've never run outdoors through the winter, but I think this could help get me into it. Either way I'll meet some new people and have a reason to run 2 days a week in November and December when the icy temperatures are tempting me to stay indoors! We've already had frost!
2. After much debate, I signed up for the Quesnel Women's Fall Challenge. This was my first race last year when I ran the half marathon. It's the weekend right before my marathon so I'm going to run the 10K at a nice, easy pace. I've never done a 10K race before so any time will be a PR.
3. I've got my running motivation back, but I haven't run since Sunday! Things keep springing up that keep me from my run. I've been dressed to go twice but haven't made it out the door yet. I'm hoping to squeeze in a quick run after dinner tonight to get my legs moving and will be running first thing tomorrow morning before I have any interruptions!
