Music Monday?

Help!  My long runs have outgrown my playlist!

I crafted my current playlist the day before the BMO Vancouver Half back in May.  It starts off with songs to get me going, continues with songs that keep me in the groove, pumps me up around the 10K mark, and pushes me on towards 21.1K.  There are some good songs on there.  Songs that remind me of certain people, songs that make me smile, songs that make me pump my legs faster, and songs to remind me not to go too fast, too soon.  It's a great playlist, but it's too short.  On my long run this weekend, I started at the beginning, went through to the songs that were supposed to be playing as I finished my half, on through the final few that were supposed to make me feel better if I was still running my half after my goal time, through the cool-down songs, and back to the beginning again.

I could just add on to the list I have, but after 4 months of running to the same tunes, I'm ready to really change things up.  Working with youth, I usually get introduced to everything the kids are listening to these days, but we're in between groups right now.  Living where I live, my radio options are limited to CBC, Country Classics, and Christian Radio.  While I love my CBC, (I have a radio-crush on Jian Gomeshi) and pass no judgement on those that enjoy the other two, none of the above are ideal for finding new running music.  So, help a girl out!

What are your favourite songs to run to right now?
What's the best song to get you running?
What song keeps you running?
What song pushes you to run faster?

Today's 8K run (to the same ole, same ole music) was a bit draggy at first, but I got faster as each kilometer went by.  What a great way to start the week!
